Dublin’s O’Connell Bridge was originally made of rope and could only carry one man and a donkey at a time. It was replaced with a wooden structure in 1801. The current concrete bridge was built in 1863 and it is the only traffic bridge in Europe which is wider than it is long.
City break (sometimes called short break) is a modern form of active rest, when you getting to know new places and people. It comes when you have no time for regular vacation and need a little rest. City break or short break in foreign city is an ideal solution in this case.
City breaks usually last a few days, typically two to three, and usually take place on weekends, when visiting a foreign city and enjoy most of what this city has to offer - someone experiences the sights, someone is visiting interesting places, someone goes to a museum, another is having fun shopping with friends, visiting restaurants and trying local meals, visiting nightclubs, bars and other similar entertainment facilities. City breaks are a great opportunity to have a short respite and gather new strength.
